Our symphony orchestra was created in 2009 especially for the V Summer Ballet Festival in Moscow.
The previous years different orchestras took part in the festival, but this year we made the decision to organize a symphony orchestra that will accompany all the performances of the festival.
The symphony orchestra gathers the best soloists of the leading Moscow theatres: the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, the Novaya Opera, the Helicon Opera, Stanislavkiy and Nemerovitch-Dantchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theatre. All of them graduated from the best music universities of Moscow.
An orchestra is an instrumental ensemble, usually fairly large with string, brass, woodwind sections, and possibly a percussion section as well. The term orchestra derives from the name for the area in front of an ancient Greek stage reserved for the Greek chorus. The orchestra grew by accretion throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, but changed very little in composition during the course of the twentieth century.
Our group consists of fifty professionals having wide experience in working all aver the world.
