Dark individuals always appear in vague time. They stay behind
real power, throw it into the ocean of selfdestruction and collapse.

In troubled time people seek salvation in unusual ways. Everywhere we can see charlatans who make a profit out of our grieves. Open a newspaper or switch on TV and you'll see all this scum that promises you redemption.

SYNOPSIS

To the sound of bells moving motley crowd of people creates new evil similar to themselves. His name is Rasputin. Being the head of the crowd he submits it to his power. Thanks to his natural magik power Rasputin, saving young tsarevitch from the illness, finds his way to the highest level of power. Bright angel preserving the tsar’s family tries to protect them from demon, but the forces are too unequal.

The court circle expresses hatred for Rasputin. Unable to withstand him, they bow before the tsar's favourite.  An unwashed sexually promiscuous peasant  meddles with the domestic affairs of the court, organizes drunken orgies with prostitutes and noble ladies.

The Tsar is displeased with the monk. But the Tsarina doesn't want to take away the one man she believes can save her son's life.

Rasputin's growing influence plunges the country into chaos. He persuades the tsar to engage in the war against Germany and Russia is defeated.

The tsar's court is about to lose patience. There is a plot against Rasputin's life for the sake of Russia. Being on a strenuous bender, Rasputin humbles and insults them. He tries to reassure himself leading a loose life in Petersburg.
Meanwhile, Alexei is getting worse. The doctors could do nothing for him, and Alexandra spent ten days without sleep at his bedside. Desperate, the Tsarina implores Rasputin to heal the boy. Within hours the bleeding subsides and Alexei begins to recover. This incident regains Rasputin to full favor within the Imperial family.

The Tsar family look for the saving in vague time. They consider Rasputin their savior but instead of their hopes the shadow of the monk comes and takes them to the next world.
Rasputin is dead, but, it's too late, for the monarchy is dead as well.
